Ayah has fallen in love
Ayah: Naseem, Sarah (my sister in law) was talking about love and I think I'm in love.
Me: Excuse me?
Ayah: Yeah! Isn't love when you can't stop thinking about it and want it all the time with you? And you don't want it hurt and want to have it there forever??
Ayah: I'm serious, Nas! Is that love??
Me: Yes, I suppose so. Who are you in love with?
Ayah: What? Oh it's not a person.
Me: Okkkaaayyyy, what are you in love with?
Ayah: Chicken. I really think I'm in love with chicken.
Ayah: I don't eat it during the day because it's Ramadan so I just have snacks when I'm hungry and I really miss it when I don't eat it. I could eat it all the time. I think Allah made chicken just for me.
Ayah: Is that weird?
